Why it's different

Potatoes, not paste.

Instant potatoes are quick, until you're boiling water, measuring milk and finding the butter. Ours are already done.

And here's the part we love

Comfort food that feeds two households.

Food you'd want to eat yourself. That's the one we send.

01

You back your potatoes

Pledge on Kickstarter for a box or a case, for your pantry.

02

We make two

Same potatoes, same carton, same production run.

03

We send the match

We send the matched carton to Feeding The Northwest food banks in Washington, Oregon and Idaho.

54%
of food banks we surveyed said they could use it

No can opener. No stove. Built for the food bank shelf, because not everyone who visits a pantry has a kitchen.

Neighbors feeding neighbors. Pull up a chair.

Join the list. On launch day, your first case stocks your pantry, and we stock a food bank shelf with the same cartons.

Questions

The honest answers.

Do I have to heat it?
No. It's fully cooked and ready to eat from the carton. Heat it if you like it hot. A taste-test video is coming before launch.
Is the donated carton the same as mine?
Yes. Same potatoes, same carton, same production run. No seconds and no special "donation version."
Is the donation real?
Yes. Feeding The Northwest, a Feeding America network partner, confirmed in a signed letter that it will receive and accept donated Teton Tater cartons. We'll post photos when the matched cartons arrive.
What if the campaign doesn't fund?
Kickstarter is all-or-nothing. If we don't reach our goal, nobody is charged.
